PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picked medicine identifying system capable of identifying a medicine picked up by an operator at a low cost and suitable for medicine picking examination and the like.SOLUTION: The system comprises: distance image obtaining means obtaining a distance image of a hand and the surrounding area of an operator existing in front of a medicine storing rack storing part identifying means identifying a storing part to which the operators hand faces and approaches in the storing part in the storing rack on the basis of the distance image and taken medicine data obtaining means obtaining data regarding to the fact that an operator takes a medicine from the storing part of the storing rack and loads it on a loading container and a medicine taken and picked up on the basis of the data from the storing part identifying means and inner container change detecting means.
