<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in the case of radio-transmitting a reception signal obtained based on an ultrasonic signal from an ultrasonic wave probe to an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body. <；P>；SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: (1) an ultrasonic probe having a first radio communication part to transmit a test signal and a transmission signal and a control part to set transmission radio strength at the first radio communication part； and (2) the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body with a second radio communication part to receive the test signal and the transmission signal transmitted from the first radio communication part and to transmit a reception confirmation signal to the first radio communication part. The first radio communication part transmits the reception confirmation signal while varying transmission radio strength prior to transmission of the transmission signal, the second radio communication part transmits the reception confirmation signal when it can receive the test signal, and the control part sets transmission radio strength of the transmission signal based on the transmission signal when the first radio communication part receives the reception confirmation signal. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
