<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire at least tertiary harmonic components by a high S/N ratio (signal to noise ratio), and to provide the images of a high resolution. <;P>;SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic diagnostic device comprising an ultrasonic probe 2, a transmission part 12 for transmitting first ultrasonic signals from the ultrasonic probe 2 into an object, a reception part 13 for receiving ultrasonic waves by the ultrasonic probe 2, and an image processing part 15 for forming the image inside the object on the basis of second ultrasonic signals received in the reception part 13, the ultrasonic diagnostic device S is further provided with a correlation part 14 for extracting the at least tertiary harmonic component by executing the correlation processing of the output of the reception part 13 and preset reference signals, a reception element in the ultrasonic probe 2 comprises a capacitive microfabrication ultrasonic transducer (cMUT), and the correlation part 14 is constituted of an analog product sum operation device based on a CCD principle.
