PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of detecting a water level without installing a water level sensor for detecting the water level by a float and the like.SOLUTION: As a water supply lamp 35 is flickered under determination that a water level in a water storage chamber 6 is lowered, when an ON time of a heater 18 is 20 seconds as a prescribed ON time or less in a hot mist operation in which water in the water storage chamber 6 is heated to distribute warm mist from a blowing port 2, the water level in the water storage chamber 6 can be determined without additionally installing a water level sensor for detecting the water level by a float and the like, thus the water level in the water storage chamber 6 can be determined with simple control, a structure of the water storage chamber 6 is not complicated, and maintenance and cleaning of an apparatus body 1 are simplified, so that the usability for a user is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 フロート等で水位を検知する水位センサを設置することなく水位が検知可能なミスト発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】 貯水室6内の水を加熱して送風口2から温かいミストを送風する温ミスト運転時、加熱ヒータ18のON時間が所定のON時間である20秒以下であれば、貯水室6内の水位が低下しているとして給水ランプ35を点滅させるので、フロート等で水位を検知する水位センサを別途設置することなく貯水室6内の水位を判断することができるため、簡易な制御で貯水室6内の水位を判断することができ、貯水室6の構造が複雑化することを防止して器具本体1のメンテナンスや清掃が容易になることで、使用者の使い勝手が向上する。【選択図】 図5
