PURPOSE: A coffee roasting apparatus is provided to reduce power consumption by increasing heat efficiency, and to improve taste of coffee by flowing the waste heat in a smoke removal device into a coffee bean roasting chamber. CONSTITUTION: A chamber(13) includes a coffee bean inlet(10), an air inflow and a gas vent(11), a coffee bean outlet(12). A drum is installed inside the chamber and parches coffee beans by rotation. A halogen lamp heater(15) is installed inside the drum. A smoke removal device removes smoke produced when the coffee bean is parched. A circulating fan motor assembly(17) repetitively circulates air heat supplied from the air inflow and gas vent in a chamber. A fan motor assembly is installed in a hot air inducing duct(18). A cooling tray(19) cools the coffee beans and arranged in front of the coffee bean outlet. A tray casing(20) supports a cooling tray.
