To provide a waterer for pets, enabling surely obtaining sufficient filtration performance.SOLUTION: In a waterer for pets, in which a drinking part 31 is provided above a water storage tank 1, and water supplied from the water storage tank 1 to the drinking part 31 is made to return to the water storage tank 1, a filter 5 for the waterer for pets is detachably provided between the water storage tank 1 and the drinking part 31, and allows water which returns from the drinking part 31 to the water storage tank 1 to pass from an upper surface side to a lower surface side. There are provided: a filter tray 6 in which an outer peripheral wall 62 is provided in a rising state of a bottom wall 61 formed with a water conduction hole 64； an inside filter medium 71 stored in the filter tray 6； and an upper surface coating filter medium 72 mounted so as to cover an upper end opening part of the filter tray 6.
