<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression enhancer and expression inhibitor of aquaporin 3, useful for the prevention and/or treatment of condition caused by function abnormality of the aquaporin 3 which is a protein functioning as a water channel for regulating water content in a cell. <；P>；SOLUTION: The expression enhancer of the aquaporin 3 contains an essence of Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briquet (var.japonica Kitagawa) which is a component extracted from the Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briquet (var.japonica Kitagawa) belonging to the subfamily of Lamioideae of Labiatae as an active ingredient.
