PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin, cream-based one in particular, excellent in usability (smoothness, free of sticky feeling) by stably formulating vitamin A and derivatives thereof, and urea so that these effective ingredients have high survival rates even after the lapse of time, while preventing pH from varying.SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin includes (a) urea, (b) vitamin A and its derivatives (e.g. vitamin A fatty acid ester or the like), (c) a higher fatty acid soap and (d) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether.
