An object of the present invention is to provide a composition for external use, which contains urea and a thickening agent, while suppressing a decrease in viscosity. SOLUTION: The composition for external use containing (A) urea, (B) thickener, and (C) solid hydrocarbon oil has excellent reduction in viscosity after storage at high temperature. Preferably, the component (B) is a (meth)acrylic acid-based polymer and the component (C) is petrolatum.
