PURPOSE: A composition for sterilizing water by using natural zeolite, in which silver ions are absorbed, absorbs and removes heavy metals and organic materials in water, when putting the composition into water, and sterilizes all sorts of bacteria, so that the water is easily purified due to excellent antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a composition for sterilizing water by using natural zeolite comprises the steps of: a pulverizing step of crushing natural zeolite to the particle size of 3-4 mm, a washing step of washing the pulverized natural zeolite, a first drying step of dehydrating the moisture in the washed natural zeolite at 100-170°；C, for 2-20 hours, a melting step of fusing 5-10 parts by weight of silver nitrate based on 100 parts by weight of distilled water； an immersing step of immersing the dried zeolite of the first drying step in the silver nitrate fused distilled water for 20-30 hours； a second drying step of dehydrating the moisture in immersed natural zeolite at 100-170°；C, for 2-20 hours； and a firing step of firing the silver ion absorbed dried natural zeolite at 350-450°；C, for 4-8 hours in a roaster kiln.본 발명은 제올라이트를 이용한 물 살균용 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 천연 제올라이트를 3~4mm의 입도로 파쇄하는 파쇄단계와, 상기 파쇄단계에서 파쇄된 천연 제올라이트를 세척하는 세척단계와, 상기 세척단계에서 세척된 천연 제올라이트에 함유된 수분을 탈수하여 100~170℃의 온도에서 2~20시간동안 건조하는 제1 건조단계와, 증류수 100중량부에 질산은 5~10중량부를 용융시키는 질산은 용융단계와, 상기 용융단계에서 질산은이 용융된 증류수에 상기 제1 건조단계에서 건조된 제올라이트를 20~30시간 동안 침지하는 침지단계와, 상기 침지단계에서 침지된 천연 제올라이트에 함유된 수분을 탈수하여 100~170℃의 온도에서 2~20시간 동안 건조하는 제2 건조단계와, 상기 제2 건조단계에서 건조된 은이이온 흡착된 천연 제올라이트를 350~450℃의 온도에서 4~8시간 동안 소성로에서 소성하는 소성단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.본 발명에 따르면, 천연제올라이트에 은이온이 흡착됨으로써, 이를 수중에 투입하면 물속의 중금속과 유기물질이 흡착제거되고, 각종 세균이 살균되며, 항균력이 우수하여 용이하게 물을 정수할 수 있다.
