PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device capable of measuring an object to be examined by projecting fringe patterns on the object and having an insertion portion which is further reduced in diameter.SOLUTION: This endoscope device 1 uses pattern projection images obtained by projecting fringe patterns on an object to measure the object to be examined. The endoscope device 1 includes: a long insertion part 10 an imaging part 30 which is disposed at the tip of the insertion part, and acquires images of the object to be examined an illuminating part 40 which illuminates the observation field of the imaging part and a pattern projecting part 50 on which a light source, which projects light for projecting the fringe patterns on the object to be examined, is disposed.
