PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic apparatus of which the insertion part is reduced in diameter.SOLUTION: This endoscopic apparatus 1 is constituted so as to measure a specimen using the pattern projection image obtained by projecting a stripe pattern on the specimen and includes a long insertion part 10, the imaging part 30 provided to the leading end part of the insertion part 10 to acquire the image of the specimen, the illumination part 40 provided to the leading end part of the insertion part 10 and emitting illumination light for illuminating the observation visual field of the imaging part 30 and the pattern projection part 50 provided to the leading end part of the insertion part 10 to project the strip pattern on the specimen. The leading end surface 10a of the insertion part 10 is provided with an object optical system 32 for forming the image of the specimen on the imaging part 30, at least one illumination window 12 for emitting the illumination light and one projection window 13 for projecting the stripe pattern on the specimen from the pattern projection part 50.
