PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily cleansing composition excellent in usability (a makeup removal effect) and temporal stability and also in antiseptic power capable of effectively preventing secondary pollution caused by microorganisms.SOLUTION: An oily cleansing composition contains (A) 60 to 95 mass% of an oily component which is liquid at 20°C and (B) 3 to 20 mass% of a nonionic surfactant, where (B) has 0.01 to 2 mass% of a compound represented by the (B-1) general formula (1) as an essential component.
