The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating gout containing mixed medicinal herbs extract as an active ingredient and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the method for preparing the composition for preventing or treating gout containing mixed medicinal herbs extract as an active ingredient comprises the steps of: (1) adding 1-5wt% of silver vine, 1-5wt% of glycyrrhiza uralensis fischer, 1-5wt% of paeony, and 90-95wt% of water to a predetermined size of a pressure cooker and hot pressing in order to obtain hot water extract； (2) emitting pressed air produced inside the pressure cooker； and (3) filtering the hot water extract and collecting filtrate.
