PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality catheter without damaging operation wires and a tubular body under a heating or swelling environment which the wires and the tubular are subject to after assembling the catheter.SOLUTION: A catheter includes: a long and flexible tubular body 10; multiple operation wires 30a, 30b that are inserted to the tubular body 10 and whose tips are connected to the distal part of the tubular body 10; an operation part body arranged in a proximal end part PE of the tubular body 10; and a bending operation part. The bending operation part has engagement parts with the proximal end parts of the operation wires 30a, 30b and gives pulling force to the multiple operation wires 30a, 30b individually by a pulling operation so as to bend the distal part of the tubular body 10. The bending operation part is arranged to be movable with respect to the operation part body. When the bending operation part (a wire fixing disk 64) and the operation part body (a lower side body 84) are relatively moved, the route lengths of the multiple operation wires 30a, 30b from the distal end parts to engagement parts 66 are increased or decreased together.【課題】カテーテルの組立後に受ける加熱または膨潤環境下で操作線や管状本体が損傷することがなく高品質のカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】カテーテルは、長尺で可撓性の管状本体10、この管状本体10に挿通され先端部が管状本体10の遠位部に接続された複数本の操作線30a、30b、管状本体10の基端部PEに設けられた操作部本体、および屈曲操作部を備えている。屈曲操作部は、操作線30a、30bの基端部との係合部を有し、牽引操作により複数本の操作線30a、30bに個別に牽引力を付与して管状本体10の遠位部を屈曲させる。屈曲操作部は操作部本体に対して移動可能に設けられている。屈曲操作部(ワイヤ固定盤64)と操作部本体(下側本体84)とを相対移動させることにより複数本の操作線30a、30bの先端部から係合部66までの経路長が共に増大または減少する。【選択図】図8
