PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which gives an excellent feeling of use not sensing tackiness and slipperiness originated from electrolytes, surfactants, oiling agents, and the like, and is high in storage stability.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsion composition comprises the following ingredients (a) to (d). (a) 0.3 to 8 mass% of an electrolyte. (b) 0.45 to 6.5 mass% of a sorbitan fatty acid ester and a sucrose fatty acid ester. (c) 0.01 to 1.4 mass% of an N-acyl amino acid and/or a salt thereof.
