PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and an image processing program that can easily and naturally interpolate input pixels which become missing during adjustment of a gradation curve.SOLUTION: When input pixels are graphed on a lateral axis, both ends of gradation curves LF, RF after adjustment become narrower in a right-left direction and input pixels are missing corresponding to the amount of narrowing. Then parts of the original gradation curves LF, RF which are present up to pixels positioned at ends of the gradation curves LF, RF after the adjustment are determined as interpolation parts, and the interpolation parts of the original gradation curves LF, RF and the gradation curves LF, RF after the adjustment are joined together to interpolate the interpolation parts of the gradation curves. Thus, the interpolation parts of the original gradation curves and the gradation curves after the adjustment are joined together utilizing the interpolation parts (missing parts) of the original gradation curves to easily and naturally interpolate the missing input pixels.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】階調曲線の調整の際に欠落した入力画素を簡易に、かつ自然に補間することができる画像処理装置、画像処理方法並びに画像処理プログラムを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】入力画素を横軸にとると、調整後の階調曲線LF´,RF´の両端が左右方向に狭まって、狭まった分だけ入力画素の欠落が生じる。そこで、調整された調整後の階調曲線LF´,RF´の端部に位置する画素まで存在する元の階調曲線LF,RFの部分を補間部分として、元の階調曲線LF,RFの補間部分と調整後の階調曲線LF´,RF´とを接合することにより、階調曲線の補間部分を補間する。このように、元の階調曲線の補間部分(欠落箇所)を利用して、元の階調曲線の補間部分と調整後の階調曲線とを接合すれば、欠落した入力画素を簡易に、かつ自然に補間することができる。【選択図】図5
