PURPOSE: A vegetation material for greening a slope surface, and a greening method using thereof are provided to economically and effectively green the slope surface compare to a method of spraying the material. CONSTITUTION: A vegetation material for greening a slope surface contains 100 parts of main soil material by weight, 150-500 parts of soil conditioner by weight, 5-20 parts of binder by weight, and 20-100 parts of moss-inducing material by weight. The main soil material includes 40-80wt% of decomposed granite soil and 20-60wt% of yellow soil. The moss-inducing material includes 60-95wt% of zeolite and 5-40wt% of oil cake extract. The binder is formed with 3-12 parts of cellulose powder by weight, 1-4 parts of acryl amide by weight, and 1-4 parts of water-soluble silicic acid by weight for 100 parts of main soil material by weight. The vegetation material additionally includes a binding reinforce member(1) formed with elastic fibers(11, 11`).본 발명은 비탈면에 살포되어 비탈면을 녹화하기 위한 식생재 및 이를 이용한 녹화방법에 대한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 주토양 100중량부에 대하여 토양개량제 150 내지 500중량부와 점결제 5 내지 20중량부와 이끼유도물질 20 내지 100중량부와 결속강화부재가 혼합되어 형성되어, 결속력이 강하여 따로 네트의 설치가 필요 없고, 다량의 강우, 침출수, 용출수 등에 의해서도 유실되지 않으며, 암반이나 콘크리트로 이루어진 비탈면에도 적용할 수 있으며, 따로 건조이끼포자를 넣지 않아도 이끼를 유도하여 자라게 할 수 있는 비탈면 녹화용 식생재 및 이를 이용한 녹화방법에 대한 것이다.
