The present invention relates to a functional composition for an anti-aging activity containing an extract of a leaf of a Korean cabbage, extracting dried powder of a leaf of a Korean cabbage using a solvent. A Korean cabbage blue leaf has significantly higher activity as compared with a yellow leaf and yellow rachis, through the total polyphenol, the total flavonoid, a DPPH radical scavenging activity, the total antioxidant activity, and the oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC value) analysis. A Korean cabbage yellow leaf has high anti-aging, anti-diabetic, and anti-hypertensive activities. Therefore, a composition containing an extract of a Korean cabbage leaf, has excellent antioxidant activity, cancer cell growth inhibitory activity, and inflammatory inhibitory activity as well as anti-aging, anti-diabetic, and anti-hypertensive activities.
