The method involves determining additional information, which is relevant for implementing numerically controlled manufacturing of components during phase of a computer-aided development. The additional information overlaps clear information, which determines the three dimensional geometric shaping of a work piece. The additional information, in a directly readable electronic format, is delivered to a production line together with the information, in electronic form, to the three dimensional shaping of the work piece. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer for implementing the part of a method on development field or manufacturing field; and (2) an electronic data file for transfer of computer-aided development and numerically controlled manufacturing of components in machining cells.
