The invention relates to a soft drink composition based on plants, to a process for preparing the same and to an installation for applying said process. The claimed composition comprises, in percentage expressed by mass, 1.4...2.22% roasted barley, 2...3.6% roasted chicory, 0.09...0.11% hop, 0.6...1% corn and 93.07...95.91% water. The claimed process consists in thermally treating the raw materials at 100...105°C, then stopping the heating and maintaining them for 48 h until the temperature of the liquid reaches 40°C, followed by fermentation with bakery yeast for 24 h at a temperature of 20°C, pasteurization with sterilization, after which the pasteurized liquid is finished, cooled to a temperature of 0.5°C, impregnated with carbon dioxide and bottled.
