PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for fracture of the femur capable of excellently treating proximal femoral fracture accompanied by a posterolateral defect by using it together with an existing treatment instrument such as an intramedullary nail.SOLUTION: A treatment instrument 1 includes a support plate 2, and a fixing tool 3 for fixing the support plate 2 to a diaphysis part 101. The support plate 2 includes a body part 26 applied to the rear face of the diaphysis part 101, and at least one arm part 20 extending from the body part 26 for supporting a trochanter 103.
