PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture process for absorber that highly precisely and easily confirms whether absorbent polymers have been sprayed as planned so that high-quality absorbers can be manufactured economically.
SOLUTION: In this manufacture process, an intermittent spray machine 3 intermittently sprays an absorbent polymer 30 on strips of fiber aggregates 2 under being transported, and after the spray of the absorbent polymer 30, the fiber aggregates 2 (specifically, continuous absorbent bodies 10A) are intermittently cut with a cutter 6 to obtain absorbent bodies 10. Numerical values output from a sensor 74 arranged on the transport route of polymer-sprayed fiber aggregates and giving signals in proportion to the sprayed polymer density in them are recorded. The volume of the absorbent polymer 30 present in each polymer spray region 3a is determined by recording and aggregating the numerical values output from the sensor 74 while each polymer spray region 3a is passing the position of the sensor 74.
