PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently purify air in a short time by deodorization, sterilization and removal of a specific substance, by using the catalytic function capable of purifying the air, by eliminating consumption of electric power, by setting its Curie point temperature to the optional temperature when necessary, by making the most use of a positive resistance temperature characteristic.SOLUTION: An air purifier comprises an exhaust passage 500 for exhausting air in a closed space 400, porous resistance mold bodies 10C and 20C provided in the exhaust passage 500 and having a PTC thermistor characteristic, an electrode on both sides of the porous resistance mold bodies 10C and 20C and platinum group catalysts 19 and 29 melted by an inorganic solvent and/or an organic solvent carried by the porous resistance mold bodies 10C and 20C by overheating the porous resistance mold bodies 10C and 20C by supplying voltage between the electrodes, and determines the voltage impressed between the electrodes in response to the temperature of the air of flowing out of the exhaust passage 500, and supplies electric power to the porous resistance mold bodies 10C and 20C from between the electrodes composed of electrode films 13 and 14, stainless electrode leads 15 and 16 and electrode terminals 17 and 18, and sets the temperature of the platinum group catalysts 19 and 29 as the predetermined temperature.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】正の抵抗温度特性を生かし、必要に応じて任意の温度にそのキュリー点温度を設定し、電力の浪費をなくし、空気を浄化できる触媒機能を用いて短時間に効率よく消臭、除菌、特定物質の除去により空気を浄化すること。【解決手段】閉鎖空間400内の空気を排出する排気路500と、排気路500に設けられたPTCサーミスタ特性を有する多孔質抵抗成型体10C,20Cと、多孔質抵抗成型体10C,20Cの両側の電極と、前記電極間に電圧を供給して多孔質抵抗成型体10C,20Cを過熱させ、多孔質抵抗成型体10C,20Cに担持させた無機溶剤及び/または有機溶剤で溶かした白金族触媒19,29とを具備し、排気路500を流出する空気の温度に応じて、電極間に印加する電圧を決定し、電極膜13,14及びステンレス電極リード15,16及び電極端子17,18からなる電極間から多孔質抵抗成型体10C,20Cに電力を供給し、白金族触媒19,29の温度を所定の温度とするものである。【選択図】図1
