The device is intended to be positioned in a sealed introducer arranged in the thoracic cavity between two ribs in order to penetrate into the left ventricle, passing through the apex of the heart. According to the invention, the device comprises a body (1) equipped with a handle (2) and at least one control member (3) capable of acting on an assembly for installing and securing a braid (T) to the mitral ring by means of suturing elements (S), said assembly has means capable of enabling the extraction of a suture through the mitral valve while also being capable of enclosing the braid and becoming anchored to the periphery of the mitral ring under the clamping effect of said suture, exerting two opposing pressure-bearing forces.Le dispositif est destiné à être positionné dans un introducteur étanche disposé dans la cavité thoracique entre deux côtes pour pénétrer dans le ventricule gauche en passant par l'apex du cœur. Selon l'invention, le dispositif comprend un corps (1) équipé d'une poignée (2) et d'au moins un organe de commande (3) apte à agir sur un ensemble pour la mise en place et la fixation d'une tresse (T) au niveau de l'anneau mitral au moyen d'éléments de suture (S), ledit ensemble présente des moyens aptes à permettre l'extraction d'une suture au travers de l'anneau mitral en étant apte à enserrer la tresse et s'ancrer sur la périphérie de l'anneau mitral sous un effet de pincement de ladite suture en exerçant deux forces d'appui de pression opposées.
