PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrot growth promoter and an improver of functional component content in carrot, capable of promoting growth of carrot and increasing content of a functional component in carrot by appropriately spraying or irrigating the same to carrot without using stress cultivation or high content breed, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a carrot growth promoter and an improver of functional component content in carrot, which contain an aliphatic acid metabolite obtained by metabolizing aliphatic acid with 4 to 30 carbon atoms under solved oxygen concentration environment of 0.1 to 8 mg/l by Proteobacteria, and a manufacturing method of the carrot growth promoter and the improver of functional component content in carrot, which contain the aliphatic acid metabolite, including an aliphatic acid metabolism process for metabolizing aliphatic acid with 4 to 30 carbon atoms under solved oxygen concentration environment of 0.1 to 8 mg/l by Proteobacteria.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】ストレス栽培や高含有品種を使用しなくとも、ニンジンに適宜散布または灌注することでニンジンの成長促進およびニンジン中の機能性成分の含有量の増加を図ることのできるニンジンの成長促進剤およびニンジン中の機能性成分含有量向上剤、およびその製造方法を提供すること目的とする。【解決手段】炭素数４～３０の脂肪酸を０．１～８ｍｇ／ｌの溶存酸素濃度環境下でプロテオバクテリアに代謝させることで得られる脂肪酸代謝物を含むニンジンの成長促進剤およびニンジン中の機能性成分含有量向上剤、ならびに、炭素数４～３０の脂肪酸を０．１～８ｍｇ／ｌの溶存酸素濃度環境下でプロテオバクテリアに代謝させる脂肪酸代謝工程を含む、脂肪酸代謝物を含むニンジンの成長促進剤およびニンジン中の機能性成分含有量向上剤の製造方法。【選択図】なし
