PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote interaction among devices having different character sets.SOLUTION: A medical information processor acquires a modality worklist for requesting an examination in a modality from RIS (Radiological Information System) (a step S3). Then, according to a specific character set of the modality worklist, first character information (name of a patient, comment of the patent, examination statement and the like) is extracted from the modality worklist (a step S4). Second character information stated in a character set to which the modality cannot accommodate, is deleted from the modality worklist (a step S5) and transmits it to the modality (a step S7). The first character information stored in the storage section is written on header information of a DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) image file that is received from the modality (a step S10) and transmits the DICOM image file in which the first character information is written to an image server (a step S 11).【課題】文字集合が異なる装置間の連携を図る。【解決手段】医用情報処理装置では、モダリティにおける検査を依頼するためのモダリティワークリストをＲＩＳから取得する（ステップＳ３）。次に、モダリティワークリストの特定文字集合に応じて、モダリティワークリストから第１の文字情報（患者名、患者コメント、検査記述等）を抽出し、記憶部に一時的に記憶させておく（ステップＳ４）。次に、モダリティワークリストからモダリティが対応不可能な文字集合で記述された第２の文字情報を削除し（ステップＳ５）、モダリティに送信する（ステップＳ７）。そして、モダリティから受信したＤＩＣＯＭ画像ファイルのヘッダ情報に、記憶部に記憶されている第１の文字情報を書き込み（ステップＳ１０）、第１の文字情報が書き込まれたＤＩＣＯＭ画像ファイルを画像サーバに送信する（ステップＳ１１）。【選択図】図４
