The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising: (a) at least one ether oil； (b) at least one nonionic surfactant； and (c) water, wherein the amount of the (c) water in the composition is 70% by weight or more, preferably 80% by weight or more, and more preferably 90% by weight or more, relative to the total weight of the composition, and the oil droplet size in the composition is less than 100 nm, preferably less than 90 nm, and more preferably less than 80 nm. The composition according to the present invention can have a good cleansing ability and a transparent or slightly translucent appearance.La présente invention concerne une composition se présentant sous la forme d'une émulsion de type aqueux, comprenant : (a) au moins une huile d'éther； (b) au moins un tensioactif non ionique； et (c) de l'eau, la quantité (c) d'eau dans la composition étant supérieure ou égale à 70 % en poids, de préférence supérieure ou égale à 80 % en poids, et mieux encore supérieure ou égale à 90 % en poids, par rapport au poids total de la composition, et la taille des gouttelettes d'huile dans la composition étant inférieure à 100 nm, de préférence inférieure à 90 nm, et mieux encore inférieure à 80 nm. La composition selon la présente invention peut posséder une bonne capacité démaquillante et un aspect transparent ou légèrement translucide.
