PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a beer taste beverage having a desired beer quality with high productivity, by imparting rich flavor and aroma derived from hop while reducing bitterness.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a beer taste beverage includes a manufacturing step of adding a hop bract-containing composition with an &alpha； acid content of less than 1 wt.% in the composition, based on a finding of controlling the amount of rich flavor and aroma derived from hop while reducing bitterness, with use of hop bract which is almost never used in conventional manufacturing of a beer taste beverage.【課題】ビールテイスト飲料に苦味を抑えて、ホップ由来のコクや香気を付与し、所望のビール品質を、生産性良く製造する方法を提供すること。【解決手段】従来ビールテイスト飲料の製造にはほとんど用いられていなかったホップ苞を用いることで、苦味の付与を抑えながらも、ホップ由来のコクや香気の量を調整することを見出したことに基づく、α酸の含有量が組成物中１重量％未満であるホップ苞含有組成物をビールテイスト飲料の製造工程で添加することを特徴とする、ビールテイスト飲料の製造方法。【選択図】なし
