PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a motion of a healthy hand so as not to impose a burden of motion detection on the healthy hand, and impart stable assistance to a paralyzed hand, and to reflect the motion of the healthy hand on a normal image and an inverted image in real time so that it is easier to achieve a timing of motions between the healthy hand and the paralyzed hand, thereby improving performance of the device and improving reliability.SOLUTION: A rehabilitation device includes a motion detection part for detecting a motion of a healthy hand HA, an assistance imparting part 20 for imparting assistance to a paralyzed hand HB so that substantially the same motion as the motion of the healthy hand detected by the motion detection part is performed, and a display 3 for displaying a normal image GA taken of the motion of the healthy hand HA, and an inverted image GB inverting the normal image.
