Provided is an information processing device, comprising a transceiver unit, a measuring unit, a determination unit, a delay interposition unit, and an execution unit. The transceiver unit receives a request from a client and transmits a process result with regard to the request to the client. The measuring unit measures response time from the request being received to the process result being transmitted. The determination unit determines whether the response time exceeds a threshold. The delay interposition unit instructs a central processing unit (CPU) scheduler to interrupt for a prescribed interval the allocation of CPU resources to a process which is processing a request for which the response time exceeds the threshold.
