PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer coat fixing method by which an outer coat can be strongly fixed to a member disposed on the inner side thereof regardless of the kind of a material constituting the outer surface of the outer coat of a flexible tube for an endoscope, a manufacturing method of a flexible tube of an insertion section by which high liquid-tightness can be obtained between a flexible tube part and a bending section regardless of the kind of the material constituting the outer surface of the outer coat of the flexible tube part and the bending section, the flexible tube for the insertion section manufactured by the manufacturing method of the flexible tube for the insertion section, and the endoscope provided with the flexible tube of the insertion section.
SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the flexible tube of the insertion section is provided for connecting the bending section 4 provided with a core material 41 and an outer coat 42 to the distal end of the flexible tube part 3 provided with a core material 31 and an outer coat 32. When the core material 31 and the core material 41 are connected, the outer coat 32 and the outer coat 42 are brought into contact, the outer coat 32 and the outer coat 42 are tightly bound with a thread 9 from the outer surface side near the connection part, and a coating layer 10 for fixing the thread 9 is formed, the thread 9 uses a material of high adhesion with a material constituting the coating layer 10.
