PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an adjustment position of an adjustment operation part in a non-contact and simple configuration by relaxing a restriction of arrangement of the adjustment operation part in a braking unit.SOLUTION: A braking unit 20 of a dual-bearing reel 100 electrically brakes the rotation of a spool 12. The braking unit 20 includes a braking part 30, a first adjusting part 32 and a first magnetic flux shielding member 40. The braking part 30 has a braking magnet 44 provided with the spool 12 co-rotatably, and two or more coils 46 in an outer circumference side of the braking magnet 44 cylindrically disposed at a predetermined gap and serially connected. The first adjusting part 32 has a first adjustment operation part 50 having at least one first magnet 50a, and faces the first magnet 50a to detect an adjustment position of the first adjustment operation part 50, for example, has a first detection part 52 using hall elements 52a, 52b and adjust a braking force.
