PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Dendropanax morbifera extract is provided to control MMP-1 expression due to UV irradiation and to ensure anti-aging. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.001-30.0 weight% of Dendropanax morbifera extract as an active ingredient. The Dendropanax morbifera extract is prepared by solvent extraction, supercritical extraction, and sonication. The solvent used for solvent extraction is water, anhydrous or hydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, glycerin, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, butyl acetate, hexane, and mixture thereof.본 발명은 황칠나무(Dendropanax morbifera) 추출물을 유효 성분으로 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 황칠나무 추출물을 유효 성분으로 0.001 ~ 30.0 중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 본 발명에 따르면, 황칠나무 추출물은 MMP-1 생성 억제효과, 자외선 유도에 의한 MMP-1 생성 억제효과, 콜라겐 합성 증진 효과, 자외선 조사에 의한 세포독성완화효과, 자외선 조사에 의한 염증성 사이토카인 발현 억제 효과 및 피부 주름개선 효과가 있어 각종 기능성 화장료를 제공할 수 있다.
