PURPOSE: A wheat embryo bud extract with antibacterial effect is provided to replace antiseptic or antibiotics and to prevent and treat pathogenic diseases. CONSTITUTION: A wheat embryo bud extract composition with antibacterial effect contains wheat embryo bud extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using chloroform, ethyl acetate, or diethylene glycol monoethyl ether. The extract is prepared by supercritical fluid extraction using carbon dioxide as supercritical fluid and ethyl alcohol as an assistant solvent. A composition contains 0.01-100 wt% of the wheat embryo bud extract.
