PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of immediately absorbing excreted fluid and dispersing the fluid and easily diffusing moisture and heat while maintaining flexibility of an absorber.SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 as one embodiment of the invention includes: a fluid-permeable surface layer 2 on a skin-contact surface a leak-proof layer 4 on a skin-noncontact surface side and an absorption layer 3 between the surface layer 2 and the leak-proof layer 4. The absorption layer 3 includes: separation parts 6 each having a groove 61 on the skin-contact surface side and a low-absorption part 32 partitioned by the separation parts 6 and having a basis weight higher than that of the separation parts 6.
