PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dried fish shavings having no fishy smell and good flavor, to provide a method for baking the dried fish shavings capable of efficiently and almost uniformly baking the shaved product of the dried fish, and to provide a baking apparatus. SOLUTION: The dried fish shavings are such as to be made through baking the shaved product of the dried fish through a baking apparatus. This method and apparatus for baking are designed in such a scheme that the shaved product of the dried fish is put into a high-position inside a rotating baking drum with its rotating shaft inclined relative to horizontal plane, and the above shaved product of the dried fish is baked while stirred and moved through involving with the inner wall of the rotating baking drum.
