A bed bug monitor and/or capture device includes a housing defining a substantially enclosed interior space and a deadfall trap a harborage element mounted adjacent the deadfall trap that defines at least one pathway through which bed bugs can travel at least one bed bug attractant element positioned within the interior space of the housing and at least one opening defined in at least one wall of the housing at a location either on or adjacent the deadfall trap and/or the harborage element, wherein fumes emanating from the bed bug attractant element can escape through the at least one opening to a location outside of the device in order to lure bed bugs toward the deadfall trap and the harborage element.Un dispositivo de monitoreo y/o captura de chinches incluye un alojamiento que define un espacio interior substancialmente encerrado y una trampa mortal un elemento de nido montado adyacente a la trampa mortal que define por lo menos una trayectoria a través de la cual pueden desplazarse las chinches por lo menos un elemento atrayente de chinches posicionado dentro del espacio interior del alojamiento y por lo menos una abertura definida en por lo menos una pared del alojamiento en una ubicación, ya sean en o adyacente a la trampa mortal y/o el elemento de nido, en donde los humos que emanan del elemento atrayente de chinches pueden escapar a través de la por lo menos una abertura a una ubicación fuera del dispositivo con el objeto de atraer con engaños a las chinches hacia la trampa mortal y el elemento de nido.
