The device (1) i.e. power harrow (2), has rotary tool members (4) with a tooth (5), which are connected with a frame (3) by drive shafts (6). The tool members are driven by a separate electric motor (7) e.g. servomotor or synchronous motor, which is arranged above the tool members. Distance between the adjacent drive shafts is greater than a diameter of path of the tooth of the rotary tool members. The electric motor is supplied with power by a generator, which is assigned to tractor. A drive controller is interconnected between the generator and the electric motor.
