PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wing-like flaps W each from tearing apart from its base end part along the longitudinal direction of a napkin when peeling the used sanitary napkin 1 from underwear.SOLUTION: An absorbent article is structured as follows: defining the outline of the base end part of each of wing-like flaps W with an inward protruding circular curve 10 and forming emboss 11 at a position corresponding to the base end part of each of the wing-like flaps W and nearer to the front side of a napkin. The emboss 11 is formed as follows: the width directional outside of the napkin strides over a first virtual line 12 drawn along the longitudinal direction of the napkin so as to pass through the almost outside edge part 10a of the circular curve 10, and a second virtual line 13 drawn along the longitudinal direction of the napkin so as to pass through the inside edge part of an adhesive agent layer 9 provided at the side of the back surface sheet 2 of each of the wing-like flaps W, respectively in the width direction of the napkin and the width directional inside of the napkin strides over a third virtual line 14 connecting the almost inside edge part 10b of the circular curve 10 at the front side of each of the wing-like flaps and the almost inside edge part 10b of the circular curve 10 at the back side of each of the wing-like flaps, in the width direction of the napkin.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】下着から使用済みの生理用ナプキン1を剥がす際、ウイング状フラップWが基端部からナプキン長手方向に沿って引き裂かれるのを防止する。【解決手段】ウイング状フラップWの基端部の外形線を内側に凸の円弧状曲線10によって画成し、ウイング状フラップWの基端部であってナプキン前側寄り位置にエンボス11を形成する。エンボス11は、ナプキン幅方向外側が、円弧状曲線10のほぼ外側端部10aを通るようにナプキン長手方向に沿って引いた第1の仮想線12及びウイング状フラップWの裏面シート2側に備えられる粘着剤層9の内側縁部を通るようにナプキン長手方向に沿って引いた第2の仮想線13をそれぞれナプキン幅方向に跨ぐとともに、ナプキン幅方向内側が、ウイング状フラップ前側の円弧状曲線10のほぼ内側端部10bとウイング状フラップ後側の円弧状曲線10のほぼ内側端部10bとを結んだ第3の仮想線14をナプキン幅方向に跨ぐように形成する。【選択図】図3
