PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misalignment by improving a degree of interlock between a side flap and absorber and a degree of fitting in a waist direction.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper 1 according to the present embodiment, a pair of stretchable side flaps 3 is disposed to extend from side edges S1 in a product width direction W of an absorber body 2 in a rear waist region 30. A fastening tape 4 is formed to extend from each of the side edges S2 in the product width direction W of the respective side flaps 3. The length L1 in a product longitudinal direction of the side edge S2 in the product width direction W of the side flap 3 is smaller than the length L2 in the product longitudinal direction of a root part B1 of the side flap 3.
