The present invention relates to a rice processed food and a method for preparing the same, and more specifically, to a method comprising the steps of: (a) pulverizing rice; (b) mixing the pulverized rice powder with salty water; (c) re-pulverizing the rice powder mixed with salty water; (d) steaming the re-pulverized rice powder; (e) mixing the steamed rice powder with nuts; (f) molding the mixture; and (g) quickly cooling the molded mixture. The method according to the present invention can provide a rice stick or rice pizza dough using rice powder rather than wheat flour, to be more beneficial to eaters and to allow easier cooking for better convenience. In addition, mixing nuts such as walnut, pine nut and almond into rice powder affords, without separate food additives, a savory aroma and rich nutrients to rice processed foods to heighten popularity for rice processed foods.
