PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder cosmetic material in which the powder component causes no aggregation and the surface powder component causes no caking in press processing even if a large amount of oily component is contained.SOLUTION: The powder cosmetic material is characterized by comprising: oblate cellulose particles where the average particle size is 1-100 &mum, the average thickness is 0.01-5 &mum, and the oblateness is 20-200 and an oily component.
