PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual axis detecting apparatus including a thinly-configured translucent member in front of a light source and a camera, and yet capable of securing strength thereof.SOLUTION: A lighting/imaging section 20 has a camera 21 and a light source 22. A front member 30 for covering the front of the lighting/imaging section 20 is formed by closely attaching a translucent member 31 and a light blocking member 35 to each other by a two-color molding process. Consequently, even when the thickness dimension t of a front cover part 32 of the translucent member 31 in front of an imaging hole 23 is thinned to 2 mm or less, this configuration can retain the strength thereof. The front cover part 32 is configured thinly, so that even when light emitted from the light source 22 enters and is propagated inside the front cover part 32, the light hardly exits towards the camera 21 so as to prevent the light from being directly applied to the camera 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 光源とカメラの前方に位置する透光部材を薄く構成し、しかも強度を確保できるようにした視線検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】 照明撮像部20はカメラ21と光源22を有している。照明撮像部20の前方を覆うフロント部材30は、透光部材31と遮光部材35とが2色成形工程で密着して形成されている。そのため、撮像穴23の前方において透光部材31の前部被覆部32の厚さ寸法tを2mm以下の薄いものとしても強度を保つことができる。前部被覆部32を薄く構成することにより、光源22から発せられた光が前部被覆部32の内部に入射して伝搬しても、カメラ21に向けて出射しにくくなり、カメラ21に光が直接与えられるのを防止できるようになる。【選択図】図3
