Disclosed is an intelligent redundant backup method for channels, comprising the steps of: determining characteristic parameter queues of transmission channels; weighing parameters of the transmission channels to determine weight factor queues corresponding to characteristic parameters of the channels; timely monitoring characteristic parameter values of the channels, computing preferred parameters of the channels by means of a preferred parameter algorithm of the channels, and forming preferred parameter queues; determining a most preferred parameter according to a target selection criterion, and selecting, when the most preferred parameter stably lasts for a preset stable duration, the channel corresponding to the most preferred parameter as a main channel.
