PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel means for conveniently and inexpensively preparing endothelial progenitor cells.SOLUTION: An endothelial progenitor cell is prepared through the steps in which: (1) an induced pluripotent stem cell is cultured to form a bursal structure, (2) a cell population constituting the bursal structure is separated, (3) the separated cell population is inoculated on a culture surface coated with a material containing a basal membrane component, and in the presence of a vascular endothelial growth factor, cultured is a cell showing adhesiveness to the culture surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】、簡便且つ安価での血管内皮前駆細胞の調製を可能にする、新たな手段を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】(1)人工多能性幹細胞を培養し、嚢状構造物を形成させる工程、(2)前記嚢状構造物を構成する細胞集団を分離する工程、(3)分離した細胞集団を、基底膜成分を含む材料でコートした培養面上に播種し、血管内皮増殖因子の存在下、培養面に接着性を示す細胞を培養する工程によって、血管内皮前駆細胞を調製する。【選択図】なし
