Method for manufacturing a surgical guide for placing an implant-supported tooth prosthesis of high accuracy, quick manufacture and customized to the needs of the patient. The method consists in designing and manufacturing the surgical guide from the information of a topographic image of the jawbones of the patient, who will have a plate or denture of radio-opaque malleable composite resin between his upper maxillary bone and his jaw at the tomography moment. Once the tomography is obtained, the image is processed by a 3D modeling software for obtaining the surgical guide with the exact measures of the patient and with the corresponding bores, which is subjected to printing by rapid prototyping, the process is finished with the assembly of the prefabricated tubes in the guide bores of the surgical guide printing, which are useful as a guide for the drill-bit during the surgical process, warrantying that the work is performed in the planned place.Método de fabricación de una guía quirúrgica para colocación de prótesis dentales implanto-soportadas, de alta precisión, de fabricación rápida y personalizada a las necesidades del paciente. Este método consiste en diseñar y manufacturar la guía quirúrgica a partir de la información de una imagen topográfica de los huesos mandibulares del paciente, quien en el momento de la tomografía tendrá colocada una placa o dentadura de resina compuesta maleable radio-opaco entre su hueso maxilar superior y su quijada. Una vez obtenida la tomografía se procesará la imagen mediante software de modelado 3D, obteniendo la guía quirúrgica con las dimensiones exactas del paciente y con los barrenos correspondientes, la cual se somete a impresión por prototipado rápido, finalizando con el ensamble de los tubos prefabricados en los barrenos guía de la impresión de la guía quirúrgica, los cuales sirven de guía para la broca durante el proceso quirúrgico, garantizando que el trabajo sea realizado en el lugar planeado.
