PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly pure optically active amine derivative controlled in the production of by-products.SOLUTION: The method for industrially producing the highly pure optically active amine derivative controlled in the production of by-products in a high yield comprises subjecting (E)-2-(1,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2H-indeno[5,4-b]furan-8-ylidene)ethylamine to an asymmetric reduction reaction, catalytically reducing the obtained reaction product at a reaction temperature of 40 to 100°C at pH 3 to 9, propionylating the obtained (S)-2-(1,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2H-indeno[5,4-b]furan-8-yl)ethylamine, and then producing crystals from the reaction solution.【課題】 副生成物の生成を制御した、純度の高い光学活性アミン誘導体の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】 (E)-2-(1,6,7,8-テトラヒドロ-2H-インデノ[5,4-b]フラン-8-イリデン)エチルアミンを不斉還元反応に付し、さらに得られた反応生成物を反応温度40℃~100℃、pH3~9で接触還元して得られた(S)-2-(1,6,7,8-テトラヒドロ-2H-インデノ[5,4-b]フラン-8-イル)エチルアミンをプロピオニル化反応に付し、反応液から結晶を晶出させることにより、副生成物の生成を制御した、高純度の光学活性アミン誘導体の収率の高い工業的製造法の提供。【選択図】なし
