PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for the skin which has excellent gloss feeling of the skin after use, excellent rich texture during use, non-stickiness and good sustainability of moisturizing feeling by using a combination of an oil-soluble chamomile extract and carnitines.SOLUTION: There is provided an external preparation for the skin which comprises the following components (A) to (D), wherein the mass content ratio [(C)/(D)] of the component (C) to the component (D) is 0.16 or more and 12 or less.
