A method of reconstructing information about cardiac excitations, including: processing the first signal from the heart and the second signal from the heart using a computing device to determine whether the transition point in the derivative of the first signal from the heart relative to the derivative of the second signal from the heart is above a threshold value; the purpose of the time of occurrence of excitation in the first signal from the heart at the transition point to determine the excitation of the heart, which indicates a contraction of the heart during the first signal from the heart, if it is determined that the transition point is above a threshold value. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the transition point is determined at approximately one time point for the first signal from the heart and the second signal from the heart.
